01 — Who we are

More than insurance.
A better future.

Daybreak Financial helps families create financial security, and gives ambitious people a way to build a real career doing it. We are building the next generation of financial professionals through mentorship, technology, and leadership.

Here is the part most recruiting pages skip: you will sell life insurance. You will talk to families who just asked for coverage, ask uncomfortable questions about health and money, and hear no more often than yes. We have good software. The software does not make the calls for you.

03 — Your path

Your future
starts here.

Licensed to helping families, in five steps. No insurance experience required — the license is.

Step 01
Get licensed
Obtain your Life & Health license in your resident state. Pre-licensing runs about 40 hours in most states and the exam is not a formality. We guide you through every step.
  • Pre-licensing course
  • State exam
  • Application
Step 02
Complete onboarding
Meet your mentor, join the training community, and get the systems set up before your first appointment — not after it.
  • Mentor assigned
  • CRM setup
  • Scripts
  • Presentations
Step 03
Get contracted
Become appointed with our carrier partners so you can write real business on real products.
  • Carrier appointments
  • Product training
  • Underwriting access
Step 04
Start helping families
Meet clients, understand their goals, recommend appropriate protection, submit electronically. Commissions come to you directly from the carrier.
  • Client meetings
  • E-applications
  • Direct commissions
Step 05 — optional
Build your business
If you want it. Recruit, mentor, build an organization, earn overrides. Plenty of good advisors never take this step and do fine. Recruiting is not required here.
  • Build a team
  • Override income
  • Leadership events

Read before publishing. Ethos and InstaBrain are separated out on purpose — InstaBrain's own site states it is a technology company, not a carrier, and policies sold on it are issued by rated carriers. Listing either under "Carrier Partners" would be inaccurate.
These are typographic placeholders, not the carriers' logos. Using a carrier's trademark in your advertising generally requires written permission and prior advertising review. Get approved logo files and sign-off, then drop them into the slots marked in the code.

07 — The math

No income tiers.
Just arithmetic.

We are not going to tell you what you will make — nobody honest can. Here are the three numbers that decide it. Move them yourself.

Many agents earn substantially less than any figure shown here and some earn nothing. Replace this text with your compliance-approved disclosure before publishing.

08 — Questions

Asked and
answered.

Do I need experience?
No. We train both licensed and unlicensed people. What you do need is the license — we'll walk you through getting it, and we cover the course.
Can I work remotely?
Yes. Most of our advisors work virtually. In-person appointments are available if that's how you'd rather sell.
Do I have to recruit?
No. Recruiting is optional. Building an organization is one path to income here, not the path. Plenty of advisors never recruit a single person and do well.
How quickly can I become licensed?
Most advisors finish within a few weeks, depending on the state and how fast you get through the coursework. Pre-licensing is roughly 40 hours in most states.
How do I get paid?
Commissions are paid to you directly from the insurance carriers. There is no salary — you are an independent contractor. Leadership bonuses are available if you choose to build an organization.
What does it cost me?
We cover your pre-licensing course. You cover your time — about 40 hours of study, an exam, and roughly 90 days before you'll know whether this work fits you.
